Hamilton is the pseudonym of Idora McClellan Moore, the daughter of General William McClellan. Dust jacket and book are mint, 126 pages. Title page 1937, CR 1937. The south is separated into three parts; the mountains, the foothills, and the lowlands. Herei n these sketches is the real dialect of the hills - the first accurate picture of the hill people of the days of the author in Alabama, pre civil war. Written in hill dialect.
