The cowboy and his horse have inspired thousands of remarkaale works of art. Dust jacket slight tears, covers and content good+.

Hard Cover. Published by Lippincott. Cr 1903. First published November 1903. 296 pages with index. Brown paper over boards, slight wear and scuff, overall good+. Reminiscences are mostly personal. The anecdotes were heard from Whistler's own lips. Biographical data gathered from casual sources and are no doubt, subject to incidental correction. Views concerning his art were formed while watching h im at work day after day, and after many interviews. The book has many newspaper clippings inside about Whistler, also his obituary, etc. ALSO - there is a black and white sketch of Whistler, standing with a walking stick, with this inscription at the bottom: "To Mrs. C.J. Harrington. This Whistler from proof etching by W.J. Little (not sure of name) to go with Whistler book. Valentine Day 1904."
