Smallmouth bass will tackle any meal it can force down its gullet. It will charge to the surface for a bug, slash through the shallows to tear at schools of baitfish or jam its nose into a narrow crevice to pummel a crayfish - also it will throw itself at the angler's lure. There is a section in the back on all the authors that contrubuted to this book.
