Lettering on front and back covers can s till be seen. The words Alaska and Klondike are in gold (faded). Slight paper split front inside cover hinge. Otherwise the condition is good, tight and complete. Every known practical and contemplate d route to all gold fields in the North, are fully, comprehensively and minutely described with maps and tables of distances, all of which are absolutely reliable. The only newspaper to send a staff c orrespondent to the gold fields and his letters describing the great Klondike "strike" was the first announcement in this country of the discovery.
