Tan covers with gold foil label on front cover with "Shakespeare, Julius Caesar, Hill and Welles". Blue and black endpapers. Has a biography of Shakespeare in the introduction. Sketches throughout the book were done by Orson Welles. Roger Hill was Welles' mentor. This is the first book Orson Welles did at the age of 19. This was later reprinted as three books of plays, called the "Mercury Shakespeare" series. A copy of this was printed by Todd Press but in wrappers.This particular edition was printed with just "Julius Caesar" a play in three acts.
