Three Plays Edited for Reading and Arranged for Staging. Todd Press, Woodstock, IL. CR 1934 by Hill and Welles. A First Edition with 64 pages. All very good condition. Tan covers with gold foil label on front cover with "Shakespeare, Julius Caesar, Hill and Welles". Blue and black endpapers. Has a biography of Shakespeare in the introduction. Sketches throughout the book were done by Orson Welles. Roger Hill was Welles' mentor. This is the first book Orson Welles did at the age of 19. This was later reprinted as three books of plays, called the "Mercury Shakespeare" series. A copy of this was printed by Todd Press but in wrappers.This particular edition was printed with just "Julius Caesar" a play in three acts.
