CR 1988, 186 pages with index and notes. Illustrated by Charlotte Wess. Floral illustrated endpapers. Mylar cover over dust jacket, all very good. X-library with stamps, numbers and pocket in back. Garden layouts, black and white and color photos and color text cuts. A tour of the garden through the seasons, showing the effect of lighting, color sequence, etc. Ms. Jekyll is an excellent guide as her approach remains as fresh and relevant as it was in 1908 when she first wrote the book. This is a reprint of the 1908 edition. Thirty-five (35) full colour photos, her planting plans have been redrawn and intrepreted in colour, and the original plans are supplemented by an appendix of her unpublished designs.
